Very disappointed in this product. In 1.5 years it has broken down on us 2 times. Initially the parts were covered, but after 1 year parts and labor aren't covered and at 11 months it broke a 2nd time with a different problem. Initial problem was movie would skip or would stop and freeze. 2nd problem is that movie plays but screen is black. They said it would be about $145 to fix and unit cost $170. What a joke. Then they felt bad and offered 25% discount, but that is still over $100 and it appears to be a lemon. Why would I pay that just to have it break down again. Very disappointed!! I picked sony because of it's name, but apparently Sony doesn't sell good portable DVD players. Get more detail about Sony DVP-FX930 9-Inch Portable DVD Player, Black.
