I would have preferred less glare but for my extra large bright room this TV was just right. Glare is much less than Plasmas, of course. Consumer Reports gave this TV high marks. That's my 1st reason for buying. We are enjoing our 1st flat TV so far based on the higher number of hours we're watching than the large old tube, which we promptly moved to an underused room.Get more detail about Toshiba REGZA 55ZV650U 55-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV with ClearScan 240, Black.
