Lowest Price Sony KDL-46W5150 46" BRAVIA® W-Series 1080p LCD HDTV with 120Hz refresh rate

I purchased the Sony 46W5150 when I saw that the price was actually less than the 46V5100. I am so glad that I did since the price went up to more the next day. I received the TV via a freight shipment. The set was in perfect condition when it arrived.

The w5150 is the same as the w5100 except it has a longer warranty (18mth vs 12mth). The picture is fantastic with inky blacks and excellent color. The Internet enabled features are a bonus. The biggest thing I was looking forward too for the Internet enabled set is the Netflix on demand, however, it is not available until sometime in November 09. I was happy to find that the TV will pull video from my media server; this saves me from having to turn on the PS3 to get to my stored media. I haven't tried to use the USB port for MP3s or Pictures since I have been able to use the Media server.

I love the look of the TV... it looks great on the wall with a very narrow bezel. The screen itself is not quite matte, but it isn't anywhere near as shiny as the Samsungs and some of the other LCDs out there.

Picture quality is excellent. Sony does a great job with their MotionPlus compared to some of the other sets I was looking at. The Sony option has a much more natural feel too and enhances the picture rather than making it look like video.

The sound quality is pretty good (especially for hidden speakers) as long as you don't turn on the SForce surround option. That seemed to really distort the sound quality.

Set up was a breeze. The TV set up my wired internet connection automatically and found the media server on its own. Since the set is internet enabled I was able to download the newest firmware and have that installed without having to call Sony etc.

Overall, this was an awesome purchase. The picture quality is a little bit better than the v5100 series and you get the longer warranty and Internet features. I highly recommend this set.

Low Price Samsung BD-P4600 1080p Blu-ray Disc Player

OK, I bought a 52inch Samsung LCD TV in Jan 09, which I love. But, it was right before they added all the features to watch Netflix, Youtube, Pandora, etc through the set. Enter the Samsung BD-P4600. Not only do I now have all those cool features through the Blu-Ray player, I also have Blu-Ray capability, and since I have the Samsung TV I can use one remote to control both.

I've had no problems, it connected to my TV and my home network without a hitch, it updates itself and plays all my DVDs and the latest Blu-rays with all their Wiz-Bang content.

Very happy :)Get more detail about Samsung BD-P4600 1080p Blu-ray Disc Player.

Discount Sharp LC52E77U 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV, Black

About whoever compared this tv to a Samsung. I had a A750 model. I can say that the picture on this tv is better. The regular channels look better because the people look more in proportion and not pulled out looking. This tv has more picture adjustment controls than any tv I have ever seen. I don't find them confusing. I think they are fun. Anyway I was able to buy this for under 1300 new. I would be paying close to 2000 or maybe more for a Samsung. The price difference is a big difference. I believe this is the Best lcd that Sharp has made thus far. It comes with a 15 month warranty as well. No complaints. Nice TV..Get more detail about Sharp LC52E77U 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV, Black.

Cheapest Samsung PN50B450 50-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV

I was having a hard time deciding between this TV and the Panasonic Viera P50X1. My husband and I went to Best Buy and luckily they had them set up side by side to compare. The Samsung seemed to have more accurate color (albeit barely perceptible) so we were leaning towards it anyway. Then, the price on the Samsung was temporarily lowered to $799 which definitely sealed the deal! We received it last Thursday, which was a day earlier than estimated. We're both very impressed. We were watching the US Open in HD and it really feels like you're standing on the court right next to the player's sweaty body. So far we're thrilled with our purchase, and I'm very happy with Amazon as they (in my experience) always make transactions seamless and stress free. Cheap Sony DVP-FX930/L 9-Inch Portable DVD Player, Blue

I purchased this dvd player for my 5 year old son. He previously had a Coby 10 inch portable dvd, that lasted 3 years. I regret not repurchasing that model. THis dvd player does not utilize the full 8 inch screen. Most all the videos play at a reduced 5 inch size (letter box). The Coby 10 inch always filled the entire screen. I have to go into the settings and "stretch" the picture manually to have it fit the whole screen. If you watch the movies in "full screen" mode then the battery life is less than the 6 hours.
The buttons are at the bottom of the screen and often times get inadvertently pushed since they are so sensitive. I don't advise watching it in a dark car because you will never hit the right buttons. I'm very disappointed. If you are purchasing this for a child, I don't advise it. I highly suggest the Coby 10 inch. The Coby was a nice dvd player, very easy for a child to work, and the price is [...]--much less than this one.
