I have read the CNET review where it dogs on this tv for the edge-lit technology and says for $3500.00, it should provide a more uniform viewing experience. But honestly, I think they were nitpicking based on the pricepoint. True, for $3500.00 I'd want MAJOR bang for my buck! But what about for $1000.00???
I write this review to you now on my own KLV-40ZX1M and I tell you $1000.00 is what I spent this last weekend to buy this tv direct from the Sony store. My guess is that a price change is due on this tv and I would check back here for pricing below $1000.00.
I'm telling you. . . At this pricepoint, there isn't another television out there that can touch it! This TV is amazing! Err, monitor. . . I forgot it only has one HDMI input, but Sony is now including DMX-SW1 HDMI switcher with purchase. Bravo Sony!!!
