Low Price Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-40V5100 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV

I'm not an expert by any means, but I really have enjoyed this TV. At 1080P and 120HZ you can't go wrong with this TV at the price. I've had it a month, and so far no problems at all. The HD picture is awesome, and the settings you can change are vast and varied -- so you can customize everything. There are plenty of HDMI hookups, and it works very well with my Sony Home Theater system. I know that alot of people will say that Samsung is better, but I really prefer the Sony design over the Samsungs. I don't want a red power light shining at me like the Samsungs have. Overall you can't go wrong with Sony, and this TV in particular has been great. Get more detail about Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-40V5100 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV.

Discount Sony BRAVIA W-Series KDL-40W5100 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV

This TV is well worth the money, great picture whether watching Comcast HD through the cable box, or over the air also. Has TV Guide channel built in, that's a plus. Gaming, it's again, a great picture and sound. Can't say I wouldn't buy this one in a heartbeat again. I have this Lcd HDTV hooked to a Motorola HD DVR a 3425 series from Comcast, a Sony surround sound system, and a PS3 for Blu Ray movies and gaming.
All around a good TV for a fair price I would say. Would have loved to get a LED TV, but they are going for $2,500 in this size, that's still a little steep for me.

Hope my review helped.Get more detail about Sony BRAVIA W-Series KDL-40W5100 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV.

Cheapest Sony BRAVIA Z Series KDL-46Z5100 46-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV

The Sony arrived within three working days of order. But, it had been damaged in delivery and did not work. I immediately made a call to the service desk and sent pictures of the damaged packing box and set to the support person and a new set was sent the very next day. I received the second set within another three working days. It came in perfect condition and I was up and running within an hour. The picture is just what I was looking for and the support staff was excellent. Get more detail about Sony BRAVIA Z Series KDL-46Z5100 46-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV.

I'm sure the TV will be cool ... whenever it arrives. I have no idea what CEVA is, but it seems kind of 19th Century. My TV left Harrisonburg, Pa. (about 3 hours up I-81 from my home in Harrisonburg, Va.) on Sept. 3 and supposedly arrived in Richmond (about 2 hours east of my home) on Sept. 8. It's scheduled for delivery here on Sept. 15. In other words, assuming the tracking info is accurate, it started out 3 hours from here and is taking nearly 2 weeks to get here. Not that it matters, but it's odd. (I rated it a 5 because amazon makes you rate, and I figure the TV will be fine.)Get more detail about Panasonic VIERA G10 Series TC-P42G10 42-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV.

Buying Sony BRAVIA Z Series KDL-52Z5100 52-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV

I looked at Samsung and Sony LCD's, but decided to go with the Sony Z series b/c of the deal I got at Bestbuy. For $100 more, I got the 52" Sony 240hz over a 52" Samsung 120hz. I'm glad I did...man, got it home and hooked it and without changing any settings, the picture looked great. Now after a week, I'm still amazed at the picture quality and sharpness. Internet feature is nice too. Sound is very good. This is my 3rd Sony TV that I have owned and they do make great quality TV's. This TV replaces my 2001 Sony 36" Wega, which was still working great but just took too much floor space. I highly recommend this TV.Get more detail about Sony BRAVIA Z Series KDL-52Z5100 52-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV.

Buy Samsung LN52B630 52-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color

Great TV w/ a super price. I had been looking for several months to upgrade to a larger TV in the family room and the Samsung LN52B630 was the one which offered more for the money. I previously had a 42 in. Samsung Plasma EDTV in the room, but was wanting to go with the LCD due to the brightness of the room. This screen has more shine than its LCD competitors, however it is way better than the glare/mirror reflection of plasma screens, and to me, not as bad as the reviews say. The features are plenty with this model including the 120 Hz refresh rate 4 HDMI inputs, multiple audio inputs, etc. all below $1500 is a bonus. The trim of the TV is nice with a clear border and gloss black exterior edge, even though the Touch of Color, (ToC), red is present at the bottom of the frame, its not that obscene. The touch pad for the basic TV controls, (no raised push buttons), are also nice, located in the center at the bottom of the frame, but seriously, who gets up to change channels or turn on/off the TV anymore? That takes us to the remote. It's big, but so is the TV, so far easy and funtional. Also the remote has a nice backlight feature thats great in dark rooms, my cable remote operates the TV so the factory model goes in the TV hutch until I need to swith the "source" function for DVD play, etc. The sound quality was OK, however I have a surround sound system running and mute the factory TV volume. Overall, very satisfied and would recommend to someone looking for a larger LCD. You cannot go wrong with the Samsung name/brand!
PS...Free shipping was a breeze! The shipping company emailed the link to set up a delivery date, they called in route, I met them at my house and 2 guys brought it in the door and placed the box where instructed. I unpacked and hung the TV myself,as the TV is lightweight at less than 60lbs. without the stand, much lighter than my old 42" plasma. Purchase Samsung PN50B650 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV

I recieved this TV this morning and am nothing but completely pleased. The picture POPS. There is no other word that I can find to describe the quality and clarity of the picture produced by this TV. This plasma TV provides comparable connectivity to other leading models in the market. Also, the internet connectivity is an added perk because OS updates may be downloaded directly, as well as, you can check the weather and various other Yahoo! widgets. There are absolutely no burn-in/image retention issues with this unit. I have used this TV to watch The Dark Knight in Blu-ray, play PS3, and wath MNF. I had a 42" Sony LCD projection TV before and the improvements that have been made to HDTVs in the past 4 years are astounding. Excellent upgrade!!! I am so happy with my purchase. This television is a MUST HAVE if you are in the market for a HDTV. Please consider this Samsung plasma for your purchase. I was pleasantly surprised with the final price from Amazon on this Sony 52" LCD TV. No other competitor came close to the price ... and it was new, not a refurbished unit. Delivery was fast and the delivery team was efficient and professional. They did a complete job in delivering and unpacking the unit. They even assisted in setting up and testing the unit. Works great! I would certainly do business again with Amazon.Get more detail about Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-52V5100 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV, Black.

Shop For Samsung LN52B750 52-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV with Charcoal Grey Touch of Color

The purchase of the LN52B750 respresented an upgrade to add a second HDTV for the family. While we really enjoyed our 3 year old Sharp 46in LCD; the Samsung just blows it away in the depth of the colors and how dark black can be. It is a little slow to wake up when you turn it on, but the enjoyment is worth the short wait. The internet is simplistic and not that useful; would not use that issue as a reason to purchase. Footballs fans, be ready for the sharpest picture one can enjoy, no matter how fast the action is... almost better than being there. No reason to go to the movies, I have the TV paired with a LG BD390 Blu ray player, and a Onkyno sound system with 7.1 channel Energy Speakers... great combo..Get more detail about Samsung LN52B750 52-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV with Charcoal Grey Touch of Color.

Purchase Samsung LN37B530 37-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

I was looking for a smaller than 40 inch set for a bedroom and this tv is the perfect size. Relatively thin so perfect for wall mounting and the picture is excellent. While not up to the LN52A650 by Samsung (and nothing really is) for the price you will not find a better picture than this set. The menu's are easy to navigate. Operation is flawless and with 3 HDMI inputs its got plenty for most applications. This set is less in cost than the 550 model mainly because it doesnt have the side inputs which for me i dont use in the bedroom and would rather save the $100 or so odd dollars. If you wanted them later you could easily run a wallplate with them to a another location which actually makes for a cleaner install. Samsung is the best picture out there and is worth a few extra dollars. I fully expect many years of trouble free service from this set as thats been my experience with this brand. Also register online for their warranty and they add 3 months to the end of it at no cost just for signing up. Would buy this set again.

I shopped and shopped . Bought 2 TV"S at Costco and took them both back because I wasn't satisfied with the picture quality. I have had my 46"XF550U Toshiba now for nearly a year and I still marvel at the picture quality of this set every time I turn it on, not to mention it's beautiful thin bezel design. Sony VPL-VW60 BRAVIA® SXRD 1080p high-definition projector This instant

This projector truely is astounding. The image quality is fantastic! I attatched my VW60 to my Sony Vaio via an HDMI cable. I watch BluRay movies in full HD with absolutely no problems at all. When I surf the net, I'm looking at Amazon.com on my 118" desktop! All of this from the factory settings on the PJ! I look forward to seeing what a proffesional calibration would do for this sweet machine. Any improvement in the color or clarity of this already stunning picture is just bonus gravy. Another thing I was very impressed with is how quiet the cooling fan is. The PJ sits about 5ft directly over my head and even when the audio from my surround sound is muted, I have to struggle to hear the fan. I definately got what I paid for!Get more detail about Sony VPL-VW60 BRAVIA® SXRD 1080p high-definition projector.

Mitsubishi LT-52153 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Integrated Sound Projector, Black Best Quality

I spent over 20 hours researching HD TV's over a two week period and visited the stores multiple times to view them. I considered plasma, LCD, and DLP TV's. In my opinion, this TV was superior to the others on the market. It was easy to setup and was up and running in no time. It has a perfect picture. It almost makes the room seem bigger because it is so life like... kind of an extension of the room.Get more detail about Mitsubishi LT-52153 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Integrated Sound Projector, Black.

Mitsubishi LT-46151 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Integrated Sound Projector, Black Get it now!

I am a disabled person and spend 90 percent of my life at home. For better or worse, I spend a fair amount of time watching TV. Because this is takes up much of my time I wanted to get a high quality flat panel TV. Our family room is on a corner of our house and two entire walls of the room are covered with windows. During the day, even with the blinds drawn, there is a lot of light entering the room on two sides. I knew that any TV I purchased had to have a matte finish screen to cut down on the reflections.

Normally I'm one of those guys that does lots of research before making a big ticket purchase. I check out Consumer Reports, look into various product reviews and see what users have to say at sites like epinions. While at Fry's, my wife and I decided to look at Flat Panel TVs. We found a Mitsubishi model with a matte screen and a good picture (LT-46144). Doing all that research can get a bit old, so I thought I'd pass this time. Mitsubishi is supposed to be an upscale brand and I trustingly purchased the TV based on name reputation, as opposed to product research. I hedged my bet by purchasing an extended warranty.

Within a few months, I started to have dark lines going down both sides of the screen. Not good. I flexed the muscles of the extended warranty and scheduled a service call. While I'm waiting, I decided to do a bit of web searching to see what was up with these lines. Imagine my surprise when Mitsubishi customers were having lots of problems with lines on their flat panels. I contacted the service company and asked if they had fixed the problem with a revised screen. He assured me that they had resolved the problem and would install a different screen. But as I expected, when the service folks arrived at my house, they installed the exact same part number screen that they took out. What is the point in that when they know the screen is defective.

As expected, a few months later the lines returned. Shame on Mitsubishi and the service company for putting the same defective screen in my TV. I had no intentions of letting them install another bogus screen of the same part number. The lines would just return in a few months. I contacted Fry's to request the TV be exchanged out right this time. I told them I was having a problem with lines on the screen and they replied "Oh, it must be a Mitsubishi". They were well aware of the problem and said that Mitsubishi was doing a recall on these TVs.

I contacted Mitsubishi and they said they would upgrade the TV for me (a LT-46151). I informed them that I must have a matte finish screen, but amazingly, no one in customer service could tell me if the new screen was gloss or matte. Poor training that they don't know their own products. I continued to push and a few days later I was told that Mitsubishi only makes gloss screens now. That would be a disaster of screen glare in my family room.

I contacted Fry's again, asking if they would be willing to take the new Mitsubishi in exchange for credit towards some other brand of matte screen TV. Fry's agreed to this if Mitsubishi would ship the TV directly to them. I was very encouraged by this and contacted Mitsubishi to have the TV sent to them. Mitsubishi refused, saying they will only ship to the TV owner. Dumped on again.

Now, I'm caught in a catch-22. Either I keep my piece of garbage original Mitsubishi TV with all the lines or I exchange for a new gloss screen Mitsubishi TV. Keeping the old one would have been a bad decision, so I elected to accept the new gloss screen, hoping the reflections would be tolerable.

After the new LT-46151 arrived and was installed, it was a disaster. The glare is horrific. Any time during the day the picture has nasty glare when viewing straight on. If I try to view from a side angle the glare is so bad that the picture is un-viewable. I spent $2000 and have a TV that is barely visible during the day time (when I do most of my viewing). It was very discouraging and disappointing.

Mitsubishi called back to see how happy I would be with the new TV and I told them my frustrations. Their response was pretty much "You signed for the new TV, so too bad". They just didn't care that they had delivered an un-useable TV to my house. I asked them to escalate this to see if they could work something out with Fry's to get me a credit towards some other matte screen TV. Their response was "We don't do that any more".

Bottom line, Mitsubishi was knowingly selling defective flat panel TVs. The techs knew about this problem, and many users on the web had shared their experience with this "lines on screen" problem. Yet Mitsubishi and their retailers continued to sell this defective product. Shame on you Mitsubishi. Since Mitsubishi no longer manufactures matte finish screens The gloss screens on their new models is terrible if you have any ambient light in your viewing room. I can't expect them to directly furnish me with a matte finish screen TV. However, there is no good reason they could not work out a deal with Fry's to make an exchange. They have done this sort of exchange in the past and it is simply a management decision not do this again. This had a simple solution, but Mitsubishi management had no interest in solving this problem. Shame on you Mitsubishi.

Right now I just feel like I've been taken advantage of. Because of my health, I can't continue burning energy fighting the crooks and clowns at Mitsubishi. I've got two choices now. I can just keep the TV and try to ignore the glare (I'm trying this right now, but it's a bit tough after spending two-grand on a TV and not being able to see the screen during the day). Or, I can dump this TV on craigslist (I'd be quite lucky to get even half of the retail price since it is technically a used TV without a transferable warranty), Then turn around and pay full price for a new matte screen TV. Financially, I don't think I can swing that (and it frosts me even being put in this position).

While I sort out my options, I wanted to share my experience with others that may be shopping for a flat panel Mitsubishi TV. Mitsubishi were knowingly selling or allowing the sales of known defective TVs. They had it within their power to work out a simple deal with Fry's (Fry's had already said this was acceptable), but they were unwilling to make the phone call. My $2000 grand padded their bottom line for a while. I would encourage others shopping for a flat panel TV to not use their money to subsidize this sort of corrupt and lazy customer service from Mitsubishi.

For that matter, I just can see buying anything from Mitsubishi, be it an automobile, fork lift, or air conditioner. Their Glossy TV screens are useless anyway.

Please learn from my mistakes. Do your homework ahead of time and let your hard earned money go to another company that makes quality products and will deal with you honestly.

I just hope I can get Fry's to transfer the 5 year extended maintenance contract to the new TV. If they don't, I'm out another couple hundred dollars and my new TV will not even have an extended warranty. I'm just feeling so hosed.

This TV is very nice: good picture, easy setup. The delivery was very poor. It was much more challenging to arrange a delivery time as the delivery company was pretty dense. Cheap Sony Bravia Z Series KLV-40ZX1M 40-Inch 1080p LED Monitor

I have read the CNET review where it dogs on this tv for the edge-lit technology and says for $3500.00, it should provide a more uniform viewing experience. But honestly, I think they were nitpicking based on the pricepoint. True, for $3500.00 I'd want MAJOR bang for my buck! But what about for $1000.00???
I write this review to you now on my own KLV-40ZX1M and I tell you $1000.00 is what I spent this last weekend to buy this tv direct from the Sony store. My guess is that a price change is due on this tv and I would check back here for pricing below $1000.00.
I'm telling you. . . At this pricepoint, there isn't another television out there that can touch it! This TV is amazing! Err, monitor. . . I forgot it only has one HDMI input, but Sony is now including DMX-SW1 HDMI switcher with purchase. Bravo Sony!!! Amazing product!!!Get more detail about Sony Bravia Z Series KLV-40ZX1M 40-Inch 1080p LED Monitor.

Buying Mitsubishi LT-46153 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Integrated Sound Projector, Black

I bought this set from a local dealer. I've been looking at the new 240Hz sets along with the more common 120Hz. Mitsubishi seems more or less disinterested in the numbers game, as they aren't emphasizing the refresh rate (120Hz), contrast ratio, or other specs that seem to dominate LCD TV marketing. Although the specs can tell you much about a display, the proof is in the actual viewing experience. That's where this model really impressed me.

Using the 'Natural' display preset actually produces a very natural image in color, contrast and brightness. The color balance is excellent. Color gradients are flawless, with no visible banding. The picture is incredibly sharp - given the right source. This set really shows its quality with Blu-ray video; detail is fantastic and motion is smooth with no visible blurring. This is also true of sports broadcasts in HD.

Mitsubishi emphasizes the integrated surround sound system on their web site. It's a nice feature if you don't have a separate surround sound amp. However, if you hope to get the surround effect, take a look at the diagrams in the online version of the owner's manual. (It's more complete than the printed one.) Since my room isn't rectangular, I couldn't really test the 'sound projection' capabilities. You can connect and external sub-woofer too, which I did not attempt.

Connectivity is good, with 4 HDMI inputs, and two component/composite inputs. A USB port is a nice feature, as you can connect a flash drive or other storage device, and play back digital files directly. (I haven't had a chance to test this thoroughly yet.) A digital audio output should come in handy for routing audio back to my surround sound receiver from the antenna input.

The design is understated, with an all black cabinet. The logos aren't huge, and they don't light up or anything. I particularly like the narrow (less than 1") bezel. On the stand, I have just enough room for my center speaker, which is about 4.5" high, to sit in front of the set. I'm still getting accustomed to the glossy screen, and was a bit wary of it before I made my purchase. My viewing room has a large window opposite the TV, and the reflection is a problem. However, the nature of a matte finish screen tends to reduce the sharpness of the image, so I opted for a better picture.

The remote is 'activity based' and capable of controlling other devices through the usual code entry, or via HDMI control of CEC devices. The button array is pretty basic, so you may end up using a different universal remote, or individual remotes. I haven't programmed the included remote, as I use a Logitech Harmony One instead.

This TV doesn't have some of the 'features' other manufacturers are throwing in these days. But honestly, I don't need network connectivity, kid's features or recipes on my TV. The Energy Star rating is another plus, and something that's becoming fairly common. If you're looking for a high-quality LCD TV that you'll enjoy for years, take a look at this unit. I find it to be truly impressive.Get more detail about Mitsubishi LT-46153 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Integrated Sound Projector, Black.

I bought this Sharp 26" DVD combo on line and did not get a chance to test it before I bought it. If I did I would not have bought this TV. The picture is great and the remote is easy to understand. The problem is when you change the channels it take forever to go from one channel to the next. The screen goes black for at least 5 seconds between each channel change. It's enough to drive you crazy. The second thing that I have found wrong with the DVD part of the TV is the sound quality when a DVD is playing. The sound is so low that it's almost impossible to hear with the volume turned all the way up. I do not have the TV in a place where I can add extra speakers. I would rather buy a TV with speaker that work. I would never never buy a Sharp TV again...Get more detail about Sharp LC26DV27UT 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV with Built-in DVD Player, Black.

Mitsubishi WD-65837 65-Inch 1080p 120Hz Home Theater DLP HDTV Top Quality

I've been watching the WD-65837 for a good two days now throwing everything at it, Directtv...Bluray...HDDVD...and still this TV displys beautiful pictures. Colors are crisp and accurate. I calibrated the set using Joe Kanes HDTV calibration disc and although the green is still a little off, it's closser than the WD65833 was.
So far loving this set!Get more detail about Mitsubishi WD-65837 65-Inch 1080p 120Hz Home Theater DLP HDTV.

Toshiba 37AV502R 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV Immediately

I bought 37" Toshiba Flat Screen of my choice, I like what I saw on arrival, the packaging was good and the handler did a very good job.
I have been using it non-stop for the past 4 months because I work from home, so it is always on and my kids are with me.
If i have the need to buy any hardware again, I will select products from amazon, because it was deliver promptly and in tact.

ThanksGet more detail about Toshiba 37AV502R 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV.

I had this delivered to my home in August after preparing the space in my family room. My major point of contention is acquiring a proper stand to hold and enable easy manipulation and connections of components (you will want to play with connections) which was not cheap. However that aside the television is great clear high definition up to 1080p resolution, plenty of connections, many adjustments that can be made that why you should have your stand on wheels. There was no manual except you go online and print it. Over all a great price for a big television but try to do 3D and you might need to get a loan. This is not for your average setup spend the money and do a home theater hire a professional and you will be glad it is money well spent. A great display. It also uses less energy than my 50" plasma and better than a projector because you can watch it for hours on end without a concern for bulb life and noise. You can find discounts online to make it worth your hard earned money.

Sony KDL-40V4150 40" BRAVIA® V-Series 1080p LCD HDTV Buy Now

I bought this TV at B&H Photo for $70 less than the S-series available at Walmart and V-series has a lot more features and capabilities than the S-series product. I am very pleased with the picture quality, sound and various features. I have watched a few fast-action movies have noticed no blurring as reported for other brands of 60Hz TV. I am also surprised that the digital out (optical) from TV connected to my audio receiver not only carries the digital sounds from DVD players, DirectV receiver, and rooftop antenna but also it appears that the analog sound from VCR is piped out of the optical digital output (I did not expect that at all). The 4-HDMI connections are more than plenty as I don't expect to use more than 3 at the most (using only two at this time). Picture quality for SD TV is fine but HD is superb. It has the capability to adjust the backlight intensity with the lighting in the room. Oh, the most pleasing thing...I have windows facing the TV (right behind me) and even with a bright sun, I don't see any glare on the screen (of course the shiny frame does have glare). It used to be a major problem with my old tube TV and I could not watch TV without my window shades drawn.

I love the TV guide feature for off-the-air channels (if picks up TV guide coded in the signal)...amazing. PAP/PIP work only if one of the inputs is cable/antenna...so, it is somewhat limited; but I have hardly used PAP/PIP in the two weeks of owning this TV.

There is one feature I wish it had: my 32" Vizio has a "panoramic screen" option for SD channels. The panoramic screen leaves the center of the picture unchanged but stretches the content away from the center to fill the screen. Sony 4150 does not have that feature.

I still cannot figure out why this TV (4150) is cheaper than 4100 even though 4150 has longer warranty (18 months as compare to 12 months). People say that 4100 and 4150 are "quite" the same except the warranty length...but I don't know what exactly are the differences (if any, apart from the warranty length).

Unfortunately, there is no description of 4150 model on the Sony website.

Overall, I am please to have spend $130 more than the the Phillips 42" TV I was seriously considering at Walmart. Sony V4150 has a lot more features and definitely far better picture and sound.Get more detail about Sony KDL-40V4150 40" BRAVIA® V-Series 1080p LCD HDTV.

Samsung LN19B650 19-Inch 720p LCD HDTV Order Now

I've been looking for an affordable lcd with 120Hz refresh. I came across this unit, seeing that the description, in multiple places, claims 120Hz. I also went to Samsung's (the manufacturer) page for this model. It explictly says the unit does NOT run at 120Hz.

Toshiba REGZA 40XV645U 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV, Black Decide Now

Worked great for a week and then died. Toshiba was responsive answering the phone and we had an in home service technician in the house within a few days. It took Toshiba over 2 weeks to approve the replacement of the LCD panel and now they are out of stock. We have been without a TV for over a month now. Toshiba continues to say our only option is to wait for the part and they can't give us an estimate of when it will be in. They certainly aren't interested in satisfied customers.
Do not buy this or any Toshiba LCD TV.Get more detail about Toshiba REGZA 40XV645U 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV, Black.

Toshiba 22AV600U 22-Inch 720p Portable LCD HDTV, Black Right now

1. it is a very good TV
2. sound is not a problem. change settings of Dolby Digital Dynamic Range to "compressed". also what do you expect from a small bedroom TV ...I for example expect just OK sound
3 it tilts about 15-20 degrees back and 3 degrees forward. 22" samsung does not. as with all LCDs picture get darker if you look from bellow. If it is your problem tilt it forward or place something under the base (it is wide and stable) to tilt it forward.
4. 22" should be your minimal size if it is not your desktop TV. 19" is too small for even small room.
5. contrast and colors are excellent; not worse then samsung ones have...I even like it more
6. remote is super convenient, has favorite channels
7. it changes the channels relatively quick
8. Toshiba looks like real TV set not like Samsung's PC monitor style
8. bought it from Amazon for $230 in Sept
9. my room is dark... just like the TV section in Best Buy storesGet more detail about Toshiba 22AV600U 22-Inch 720p Portable LCD HDTV, Black.
