We purchased this Sharp TV with a built in DVD player for its DVD abilities. Once it is up and running, we have been totally pleased with the picture quality and sound. Getting there, however, is sometimes a chore. The remote that accompanied the product is not the one described in the materials, and so it took -- indeed is still taking -- some experimentation to figure what does what and how to accomplish even something as basic as pausing the DVD. Equally so, getting started on a DVD with more than one selection is still non-trivial to us. I am sure all this will change shortly once we get accustomed to it and then we will be totally enamored.
